The Minnesota Wild signed 19-year-old goaltender Hunter Jones to a three-year, entry-level contract on Thursday.
Jones was 31-14-3 with a 2.75 goals-against average, a .913 save percentage and four shutouts in 49 games in 2019 with the Ontario Hockey League's Peterborough Petes.
The 6-foot-4, 202-pound Ontario native was second in the OHL in shutouts, fourth in wins and GAA, and fifth in save percentage.
Jones was selected by Minnesota in the second round (59th overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
