China appoints new head of military court

Liu Jixing has been appointed as the new president of the People's Liberation Army's (PLA) military court.

Liu, a former vice president of the PLA military court, replaced Su Yong for the top job.

The National People's Congress, China's top legislature, appointed Liu during its bi-monthly session that concluded Friday, China Daily reported Sunday.
