Tepco Reports 572 Billion Yen Loss, Says No Chance of Insolvency

Aug. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Tokyo Electric Power Co. said it had a loss of 572 billion ($7.4 billion) as it took charges to pay for cleaning up its wrecked Fukushima nuclear plant and compensating people affected by the crisis.
