Canada need expect no respite

MUMBAI: New Zealand has qualified for the World Cup semifinals on five occasions (in 1975, 1979, 1992, 1999 and 2007) and is in sight of a quarterfinal place this time. With the centurion from its previous match, Ross Taylor entrusted with the captaincy, the Kiwis are primed for action over its next two league games. Canada will prove just a speed-breaker for New Zealand on Sunday; the Kiwis' focus is firmly on the big match against Sri Lanka.
