Canada's Del Bosco races to ski cross gold

Canadian freestyle skier Chris Del Bosco has captured a ski cross gold medal in a World Cup competition at Blue Mountain in Collingwood, Ont. The 28-year-old from Sudbury, Ont., was coming off his first world championship victory last week in Park City, Utah. Andreas Matt of Austria won the silver, while Tomas Kraus of the Czech Republic took the bronze. Nick Zoricic of Toronto was fifth. Anna Woerner of Germany won the women's ski cross event. Fanny Smith of Switzerland was second, while Austria's Jenny Owens claimed the bronze. Kelsey Serwa of Kelowna, B.C., was fifth.
